We are an independent, equine and small animal practice with a tight-knit team dedicated to advocating for animal welfare and providing excellent service for our clients. With an additional surgeon on board, we are looking to add another nurse to our growing team.

Sunshine Coast Equine Veterinary Clinic opened the first and only equine surgical facility on the Sunshine Coast, with three highly experienced equine veterinarians and five vet nurses.

We offer a range of equine services including surgery, internal medicine, ambulatory practice, lameness, dentistry and diagnostic imaging. Our small animal clinic provides routine and preventative care as well as general surgery and dentistry.

This role is super diverse with no two days being the same. If you love variety within your work then this is the role for you!

What we are looking for:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Physically fit with the ability and experience in handling a variety of horses (racehorses, yearlings, sport horses, ponies etc.)
• Is readily adaptable and eager to be able to switch between the different species
• Hard-working, diligent, and reliable
• Can take initiative, work effectively and independently
• Able to learn and be flexible in a fast-paced working environment, with great multitasking skills
• To have attention to detail and a passion to learn new skills and techniques
• Experience with EzyVet software would be advantageous
